RE Faith Centre Visits
Pupils enjoy educational visits to places of worship to enrich their Religious Education learning. These visits are a great opportunity for pupils to engage in active learning, and discover the similarities and differences of the different faith communities in Kirklees.

Faith week 10th - 14th October 2016
Pupils enjoyed an RE week based around the theme of ‘Getting Creative with Creation’. Pupils explored the creation stories from Christianity, Judaism and Islam, and Humanist beliefs on creation. They recorded their responses in a variety of exciting, thoughtful and creative ways, such as story-telling, poems, drama, music and artwork. The outdoor environment was utilised to explore the wonders of the natural world and inspired some wonderful artwork.

Headfield Under Seige
Mysterious Spaceships, Aliens and Spots! Some very strange events have been occurring at Headfield this term. The children returned to school after the holidays to find a strange object had landed in the playground and the area had been quarantined by the police. Lots of investigations and excitement followed as the children began to unravel the mystery. It was great to see how the whole school got involved in our Headfield Under Siege week and a range of brilliant work has been produced in every year.
